ATMOS PDP 20 compressor

PDP series mobile compressors are powered by Perkins diesel engines. The design of the machines is the result of fifty years of tradition in the manufacture of mobile compressors, which is why Atmos mobile compressors are so robust and reliable, and capable of operating in very harsh conditions such as extreme temperatures and dusty environments.

The PDP series compressors are equipped with a soft start system to protect the engine and extend the life of the compressor. This means that the compressor idles after start-up, giving it time to reach the correct pressure and oil temperature parameters for the job.

ATMOS PDP series mobile compressors are powered by Perkins diesel engines. The design of the machines is the result of 50 years of tradition in manufacturing mobile compressors, which is what makes them so robust and reliable. The compressors are capable of operating in very harsh conditions, such as extreme temperatures or dusty environments, or when subjected to unprofessional maintenance.
The PDP series compressors are equipped with a soft-start system, which provides protection for the motor and the screw block. This means that the compressor idles after start-up, giving it time to reach the correct parameters for operation.
PDP series compressors are manufactured in capacities from 2 m3/min to 25 m3/min.

Common series parameters:

Engines - As one of the key components, the Perkins engine has a direct impact on the reliability of the machine. We use engines with power reserves to ensure higher reliability and longer service life. The engine speed is optimally set based on the performance curve. This means very low fuel consumption.
Control system - the two-stage proportional control system is another advantage that significantly reduces fuel consumption. The control system perfectly controls the current air consumption in order to optimise the energy required to produce compressed air, which and leads to additional fuel savings for the customer.
Screw block - The screw blocks used in ATMOS mobile compressors guarantee long and trouble-free operation over the entire service life of the machine. The latest generation screw profile has excellent characteristics in terms of both performance and noise.
Safety system - the safety system monitors coolant temperature, engine oil pressure and compressor oil temperature. If any of these parameters are exceeded, the unit automatically shuts down or goes into standby mode.
Chassis - we use galvanised, fully certified chassis according to EU standards. Based on customer requirements, we were able to offer several options, such as fixed or variable height, braked or unbraked towing hooks.
The body-cover reduces noise levels in line with EU regulations and environmental restrictions. The upper and lower parts of the compressor are made of steel and aluminium and are powder coated. We attach great importance to protecting our machine from corrosion.
Water in the compressed air - our compressors guarantee dry air. As an option, we can equip the compressor with an aftercooler with water separator, which provides dry air recommended for sandblasting or ice blasting.
