Starting platform
The starting platform is used for easy and precise positioning of the jacking machine when performing jacking.
It is dedicated to jacking machines with larger diameters and weights such as the Z130 , Z160 , Z180
The launching platform helps to give the right direction before the mole sinks into the ground. It can be particularly helpful when making the first thrusts or when the jacking work is carried out in boggy, waterlogged and muddy ground.
The launching platform is placed in the launching trench and anchored with four long pins. The jacking machine is properly seated on the positioned platform. When working in waterlogged ground, the platform, anchored in the soil, provides support and attachment for the machine. The height of the platform structure raises the mole approximately 20 cm above the level of the trench bottom.
The design of the launching platform allows for easy adjustment of the angle of entry of the jacking machine into the soil: +7° and - 5° in the vertical plane, and + 5° and - 5° in the horizontal plane. The range is entirely sufficient to correct the machine's course and helps to make an accurate jacking.
